Q: When did you begin playing football?

A: I started playing football when I was about 6, and it stuck with me from then on.


Q: What position(s) do you play, why?

A:  I play Center on offense. I play it because my dad played Center in high school, too, and he taught me how to play it.


Q: What is your favorite part about playing football?

A: Probably the competition aspect, and also playing with my friends.

Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

A: Listening to music to get me hyped up.


Q: What other sports do you participate in? 

A: I throw [shot put and discus] for track.


Q: What is your favorite sports memory?

A:  My favorite sports memory was when we won our playoff game in a rematch against Appleton East last year.


Q: What would you like others to know about football?

A: That really anyone can play it at long, as they put the work in to get better.


Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

A:  My biggest inspiration is my parents because they gave me opportunities that many people don’t get, and I would never be here without them.


Q: Is there a team that’s your favorite to play against?

A: My favorite team to play against is Wausau West because there is a big rivalry there and it’s always a fun game to play.


Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: To play football in college and get my masters in Occupational Therapy. [Brendan has been offered a scholarship to play football at Saginaw Valley State.]


Q: Are there any other things you want people to know about you?

A: My favorite food is pancakes.
